The exact origin and age of this knife is not clear but it is most probably from Rajasthan, India, mid to late 19 C. The 9 inches very heavy blade is forged from very fine laminated steel. It is curved, sharpened on the inner side reminding the sickle shaped Maharta bank dagger. Wood grips and steel bolsters. Total length 13 ½ inches. Very good condition. Newly made scabbard with silver tip.
