Up for sale is this very good Indian version of the famous Nepalese Kora sword. It is a fighting sword and smaller than it Nepalese sacrificial Kora sword. The down curving blade is 20 inches long, widening to 4 inches at the down dropping blade tip. It is well forged, fullered to its entire length and marked along its spine. The markings reminds those of the Nepalese armory marking on Khukuri knives. The handle is a Tulwar style with rich silver koftgari decoration. Total lengtgh25 inches. Very good condition. This Kora is coming from the collection of John Powell, SF, a world known collection of Nepalese and related weapons.
