From North India and the endless variety of the Indian blades comes this sword. A Khukri style blade 15 1/2 inches long with a pronounced T spine and somewhat degenerated Kaudi notch at the base of the edge. Tulwar style whole steel handle. Total length 20 1/2 inches. The blade is decorated in silver and gold Koftgari work with animals such as birds, horse and elephants. The hilt is decorated with floral design. Very good condition. No scabbard. A very interesting hybrid of a Khukuri and Sousson Pata short sword.
