Very Good Kirach / Tulwar Sword - 7597

This is a rare cousin of the Tulwar, the famous Indian sword / saber. It is known as Kirach or Karash and it is characterized by the slightly down curving blade with the edge on the concave side and a spine with a false edge. This one is a good, well made example of a fighting weapon and meant for business. The blade is 29 inches long with a 10 inches false edge forged from good steel, multi-fullered and decorated with panels of gold koftgari work. The hilt is typical whole steel with traces of silver koftgari work. Total length 33 inches. Very good condition. No scabbard. Very attractive price.
