We offer for sale this set of two short Chinese straight swords Jian from the early 20 C, housed in one scabbard. Both blades are of flat diamond cross section, 16 ˝ inches long, one of them is inlaid with the “Seven Star” round brass inserts. Ribbed horn grip with cast brass cross guard and pommel. The scabbard is covered with Sting Ray skin and mounted with brass fittings. Total length 25 inches. Good condition. The scabbard top mount is slightly loose and the tip mount is missing.
