This Panabas sword is actually a two handed jungle knife, used by the Moro’s of the Philippines and supposedly was used also for execution. This one has a rather short blade is 8 ½ inches long, 4 inches wide at the tip. It up-curving with the edge on the down facing side. The grip is faceted and engraved hardwood, bound with rattan strips .Total length 23 inches. Good condition. A crack in the handle wood.
