This nice set is of Indian origin, late 18 or early 19 C. It includes a set of 12 arrows in a heavy lacquered leather quiver. All the arrows are of the armor piercing type, with a square steel head, 2 ˝ to 3 inches long. The arrow’s shafts are bamboo, 24-25 inches long with the tails mounted with stabilizing feathers. The heads and tails of the arrows are beautifully painted in black green red and gold colors. Very good condition. The quiver lacquere is dry and cracked. An unusual find.
