This is a good complete set of two Chinese short swords in a common scabbard. These swords are sometimes related to the Boxer wars in the turn of the 20 C. but they are not necessarily so, although the dating to the early 1900’s is correct. Heavy, wide blades, 16 ½ inches long, 2 ½ inches wide. Brass hand guards with wood grips. The two blades fits into a heavy leather scabbard. Total length (in scabbard) 22 inches. Next to excellent condition. A good interesting find.
