A Classical, very large and heavy two handed fighting sword Dha from Thailand. The slightly curved heavy blade is 26 inches long with a raised spine ridge and simple engraved pattern. The grip is wood, 14 inches long and entirely covered with thin silver foil and bound with twisted silver wires and with a onion shape silver pommel (classical Thai style). The wood scabbard is also entirely covered with silver decorated with fine silver filigree work. This sword comes with a red fabric bound belt cord. Total length 42 inches. Very good condition. Nice age patina on the silver.
