We offer for sale this 18 C. mail and plates armor shirt from India, composed of many thousands of separate rings each one interlaced with four other rings and each one individually riveted. This shirt was made for a big guy: 44 inches tall and 60 inches wide with sleeves fully stretched. The shirt has two chest plates with two buckles in each and three rows of scales on the back. Very good condition considering its age and extensive use. Very few holes and missing rings. Good age patina with minor pitted areas on the plates. One scale at the shirt back is missing. A rare piece in good condition and reasonably priced.
