Up for sale is this small wood shield from Mindanao, probably Bagobo. Smaller sizes than usual, may be a shield made for a boy. 33 inches long, 8 inches wide, painted wood, slightly curved, with holding handle carved from the wood. Rattan strips are covering both the outer and the inner face of the shield. Good condition with one lower corned broken and lower tip missing. Few rattan strips missing or lightly damaged. Rare authentic item.
