Up for sale is this very fine Dah sword, probably of Burmese origin, with a finely chiseled and silver inlaid blade in a typical Burmese style, depicting dancing ( Fighting ? ) men and animals on a floral background. Blade length 25 inches. Silver mounted handle with a massive ivory grip and onion shaped silver pommel. Original wood scabbard entirely covered with engraved silver. Total length 35 inches. Very good condition. Nice patina on the silver and a crack on the ivory grip.
