This Turkish Kard shows some characteristics of Balkan weapons, may be Albanian. The blade is forged of fine wootz ( Damascus) steel and is 10 inches long, with a 3 inches clipped tip. The grip is walrus with down curving pommel and brass bolster. Wood scabbard with big chased silver locket and chape with scales design and Dolphin shaped tip. Very good condition with minor pitted spots on the blade.
