Up for sale is this very unusual dagger - a combination of a kindjal blade with a Yataghan/kindjal handle. The blade is of classical form with offset fullers, 14 inches long. The handle is chased and gilded silver, with a kindjal shape cross guard lower part and with eared Yataghan pommel. Total length 20 inches. Vey good condition. No scabbard. The handle chasing and style suggest a Greek origin, but it can well be from any neighboring country. A very interesting and unusual piece.
