Up for sale is this very early and rare form of Indiam Dagger, from a class of daggers known as Chillanum . Daggers in this class may take various shapes and this one is a very rare form. Probably early 18 C., with a short tapered blade 7 ½ inches long, riveted to a beautiful whole steel handle with a ball shaped pommel. Very good condition. Very minor pitted spots on the blade and traces of silver decoration on the handle. No scabbard.
