This dagger is a Double Blade Bichwa, a rare weapon in the Indian arsenal, meaning: ‘The Scorpion Sting’. It is old, probably 18 Century. The blades are double edged, re-curving, 8 inches long, with a flat diamond cross section and slightly swollen tips. The hilt is brass ring shaped, riveted to the top of the blades and nicely chased in floral design. Total length 12 inches. Very good condition. No scabbard. This item is offered here at a reasonable price considering its rarity and age.
