A very Fine piece from the famous Figiel Collection of Indian arms and armor. This piece is also shown and described in Figiel book: On Damascus steel ( Item G 12 P. 137 and on the back cover page) A Damascus barrel with the very rare Orange pattern, and side plates with diamond pattern steel. Black wood mounts inlaid with ivory inserts of ducks and flowers and pierced ivory insert at the butt. Very good condition.
