Very Fine Khanjarli Dagger with Damascus Blade - 7441

The Khanjarli, one of the rarest and most sought after dagger in the Indian weaponry. It is characterized by its strongly re-curving blade and wide lunette shaped pommel. This one is a very fine example, with 8 inches multi-fullered blade forged from fine wootz (Damascus) steel. The lunette shaped pommel and grips are Ivory, connected to the tang with concealed rivets. Total length 13 inches. Very good condition. Excellent age patina to the ivory with minor chips on the backside. . This piece comes with a recently made wood scabbard covered with colorful fabric. A very fine piece. |
