Up for sale is this heavy and thick hand shield / Buckler, made of Buffalo (?) hide. 13 inches in diameter, almost ½ inch thick with four brass bosses. At such a thickness it will stop a small caliber pistol bullet. Very good condition. Excellent age patina on the hide. Minor distortion due to age shrink. Handle straps are missing. Very low price.
