Very Fine Tibetan Short Sword tsep-sa - 0675
Almost as Beautiful as it can get, A new addition to our private collection is this Tibetan short sword, locally known as tsep-sa . Blade of typical Tibetan shaped but very short, 16 inches long, more of a dagger than a sword, but beautifully laminated and folded in the pattern known a Hairpin Folding. The same pattern appears on the long and heavy Tibetan swords. The wood handle is covered with Sting Ray skin and set with numerous red Corals and green Malachite stones. The scabbard is brass and copper combination with the top part decorated in a similar style. A very fine sword.
