Fine Turkish Yataghan sword, with pattern welded (Damascus) blade, well forged in the pattern known as Turkish Ribbon: Bands of twisted steel ingots forge welded between high Carbon steel edge and spine. The blade is 26 inches long, marked and inscribed with true silver inlay. The handles are silver with Niello design. The scabbard is heavy silver, well chased and decorated in a classical Turkish style. Total length 33 ½ inches.
