A good, large dahl shield of steel, with brass rim. 20 ½ inches diameter, 4 inches high, Finely chiseled with floral decoration and gold koftgari inlay in the inner circle, and Arab inscription chiseled in the outer circle. Very fine work. Very good condition with excellent age patina. Part of the gold work is erased. The inner handles and cushion is missing.
