This archer ring is an interesting and unusual item from the variety of the Indo-Persian weaponry. It was worn on the finger and was used both to charge the bow and to release the string. Similar items were used all over the orient. Probably late 19 C. ¾ inch in diameter, 1 inch long, whole steel, excellent condition.
