We offer for sale this beautiful 19 Century Persian sword. Quite a rare item and not frequently seen on the market. This beautiful blade is 28 inches long, heavy, up-curving with an 8 ½ raised back edge and quite sharp. The entire blade is elaborately etched in the typical Qajar style with Arabic inscription and quotes from the Koran. The hilt is all steel, with down curving quillons. Total length 33 inches. No scabbard. Very good condition. Minor blackened spots on the blade.
