Good Dao Sword of the NAGA. Laminated Blade - 7305


The Naga people of Assam (North-East India) and The Kachin people of Myanmar (Burma) uses this very efficient sword / cleaver. It has a very heavy blade, widening to maximum width at its very top. This one is a classical example, rather long, with a deadly sharp blade, 22 inches long, almost 3 inch wide at its tip, forged from laminated and folded steel in a folding technique known as Hairpin Folding, clearly evident at the spine area. Wood handle covered with braided fibers. No scabbard. Total length 28 inches Good condition. Steel chip at the tip and minor edge nicks. Very Low Price.
