We offer for sale this beautiful 19 Century Persian sword. Quite a rare item and not frequently seen on the market. This beautiful massive blade is 33 inches long, heavy, upcurving and quite sharp. The entire blade is elaboratly etched in the typical Qajar style with Arabic inscription and quots from the Koran. The lower part of the blade is etched with a styled snake. The hilt is all steel, with down curving quillons. Total length 39 inches. No scabbard. Very good condition. A Minor nick on the pommel.
