This is a very fine 19 Century Armor piercing Kattar push dagger, forged from very fine wootz (Damascus) steel with clear high contrast pattern. . The blade is 7 ½ inches long, with a central rib and slightly thickened tip. The cross bars is beautifully chiseled with a flower pattern. This kattar dagger comes with its original leather covered scabbard with original pierced brass tip. Total length 16 inches. Very good condition with few minor pitted spots on the blade.
