Up for sale is this rare Vietnamese sabre. The single edged grooved blade is slightly curved and lightly engraved. The hilt is copper / silver combination and the grip is elephant molar bone with chased silver pommel in a shape of a beast head. The scabbard is finely inlaid with a mosaic of mother pearl pieces and mounted with three silver fittings. Good condition. The blade was slightly re-sharpened. Some small dents on the silver parts and open solder (easy to fix) A rare piece.
