Up for sale are these two miniature lances from India, probably late 18 C or early 19 C. One lance with a waving 7 inches blade and 3 inches socket, mounted on 31 inches wood shaft beautifully painted. The other lance has a pierced leaf shape blade 4 inches long with a 1 ½ inches socket, mounted on a 20 inches haft also painted in the same style. It was most probably as long as the other lance but is unfortunately broken. Very good and clear colors on the hafts. Very delicate and attractive pieces.
