This is a 19 C. stone headed club from new Guinea, with a six pointed star shaped black stone head, 5 ½ inches in diameter, mounted on a 45 inches wood haft and secured in place by a braided rattan sleeve. Very good condition, good age patina on the stone and the haft and only minor chips on the stone head. Quite a scarce item and an important addition to any weapon / tribal art collection.
