A very old probably 17 C. version of the famous Kattar (Katar). A development stage between the Pata, the long gauntlet sword and the Kattar, the short push dagger. It has a broad multi fullered blade 16 inches long. The handle is protected with a steel hood All handle parts are decorated with simple engraving. The “hood” tip is shaped in a styled monster head. 22 inches total length. Good condition considering its age. A very rare find.
