Up for sale is this fine and very rare long knife / machete from the aborigine tribes of Taiwan (Formosa). The single edge blade is 15 inches long, 1 ½ inches wide. Hardwood grip painted red and black and brass collar and pommel. Open side scabbard with a steel wires holding the blade in position. The scabbard is very delicately painted in black and red with birds and flowers styles. Total length 24 inches. Very good condition.
