We offer for sale this 19 C. very nice Ottoman / Balkan (probably Albanian) Jambiya dagger, with very large 11 inches blade forged from fine Wootz (Damascus) steel. Long handle cut entirely from a single piece of walrus ivory with extended pommel and cross guard corners, attributed to Albania. Wood scabbard covered with the original dark red velvet fabric and fitted with very nice gilded silver locket and chape. Total length 19 inches (in scabbard). Very good condition. The age crack on the grip is very old and the grip is very solid. A very impressive item and one of quality.
