Up for sale is this very good and elegant dagger from Tibet. A 12 inhes heavy blade forged from laminated steel, folded at the tip in a pattern known as Hairpin Folding. Grip bound with twisted silver wires and a beautifully chased and pierced silver pommel. Wood scabbard covered with green leather. Total length 15 ½ inches. Excellent condition. This is a real and authentic late 19 C. piece, NOT one of the many tourist souvenirs daggers from Tibet flooding the market recently.
